A hacker is someone who finds ways to get into systems, apps, or devices without permission. They look for weak spots like an app you forgot to update, or a link you clicked without thinking and use them to get in.

Once inside, hackers can steal your personal information, watch your activity, or even lock you out of your own accounts. Some do it for money, some just to prove they can.
